Bears tie Ludlowe
NORWALK – After a scoreless first half, the Bears scored twice to take a 2-0 lead. The Falcons answered with two goals of their own to escape with a tie at Testa Field. Andres Torres gave Norwalk (1-1-1) a 1-0 lead with a goal off an assist from Chris Puente in the 50th minute. Eric Romero scored the Bears’ second goal, with the assist credited to Torres.
Ludlowe scored its goals in the 61st and 64th minutes. “I thought we played well, we just had some lapses on their goals,” Norwalk coach Chris Laughton said. “We have to do a better job of finishing teams off teams and winning games.”
The Bears outshot the Falcons 21-3. Norwalk goalie Alex Hurd made one save.
