Norwalk boys rally for another victory
NORWALK — The Norwalk High boys soccer team is making it a habit of coming back. The Bears trailed Ridgefield 1-0 nine minutes into the game before tying the game and eventually winning it on a Kevin Joslyn goal for a 2-1 victory over the Tigers Thursday night at Testa Field.
Norwalk (6-1-1) has come back to win or tie several games so far this season.
“It’s a double-edged sword,” Bears head coach Chris Laughton said. “It’s great to come back but we’d like to get to a point where we’re not giving up goals. I’d like to see more shutouts.”
Nick Zuniga tied the score at 1-1 off an assist by Erick Romero 19 minutes into the first half and Joslyn netted the gamewinner with 17 minutes remaining in the contest off an assist by Zuniga. Goalie Svet Kozak made four saves.
