Norwalk High School Boys Soccer
Norwalk 2, Ridgefield 1
The Bears gave up a goal just five minutes into the first half, but fought back to beat FCIAC foe Ridgefield and stay undefeated Thursday.
After the early tally, there wasn’t much in the way of offense for either team until late in the second half, when Norwalk’s Loizos Karaiskos slotted home a feed from Santi Mesa to bring the teams level. Teammate Jose Canahui converted a penalty with three minutes left to give the Bears their fourth win of the season in four games. Ridgefield is 1-3.
The Bears will look to remain unbeaten on Monday at home against Stamford.
