Norwalk scores 7 in Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD– The Bears were ahead 2-1 at halftime before breaking the game open with five goals in the second half on their way to the road win at Ridgefield.
The victory boosted Norwalk’s record to 8-1. The Tigers are now 4-4-1.
“We didn’t finish in the first half but we dominated in every facet in the second half,” NHS coach Chris Laughton said.
Spencer Jacoby and Kevin Joslyn each scored two goals while Andres Torres, Danny Quintero and Erick Romero tacked on one goal apiece. Jake Zuniga aided the cause with two assists and Romero and Ignacio Navarro each had one assist.
Svet Kozak made three saves in goal for the Bears.
